As you know, there are many different kinds of days that occur while you are on vacation. We have had the really, really lazy days - up at 10 or so, walk leisurely to the pool, walk back for lunch, nap, walk to the pool - well you get the idea.
We have had the really, really busy days - up at 7:00 to coffee with friends, off to some planned event, back quick meal, feed the cats, back to some other planned event and so forth.
We have had the laundry days, do some errand days, ballgame days, be a tourist day. We have not had many rainy days, however!!
In all of these days we have had the opportunity to:
See some beautiful beaches
Meet some very nice friends
Watch some great baseball
Be up close and personal to the Clydesdale horse team
Watch a seaplane land, refuel and take off
See the sunset
Catch up with old friends
Witness a Shuttle launch that was spectacular - even at this great distance
Find some good restaurants
Dance to some newly-found bands
All in all it has been a great vacation. Still more to come, but I felt it was time to recap and appreciate what we have done.
