We have had Beach Day, Pool Day and Game Day. So today was Laundry Day. And what a great day it was.
First, the day started quite late. I had looked at the clock and decided that I wanted a few more minutes in bed. Over an hour later, I finally rolled out of bed. It was late enough that we decided to have brunch instead of breakfast!
Then I walked out of the RV with the laundry. The sky was bright and blue, the air was warm and comforting and the walk to the laundry was pleasant. Most of the machines are, in fact outside, so after putting the clothes in the washer, adding the detergent and putting in my quarters, I walked around a bit and took some pictures – mostly of flowers in full bloom. Then I sat on the swing by the laundry. Just swinging and reading and waiting for the clothes to be done. It was great. I don’t usually do the laundry out in the sun!
After the laundry was done, I walked back to the RV and decided to read outside. I even finished the book! What a pleasant afternoon, just relaxing and reading. Late this afternoon, we decided to drive to Pine Island and investigate. We found a fresh seafood market. We bought some Pompano, We selected the whole fish we wanted and they made fillets while we waited.
What a great day – laundry and fresh fish and all.
