Vacation Over – Back Home

Our Vacation ended a few hours earlier than expected. When we left the South Carolina/North Carolina border on Saturday morning, we were making good time and not running into much traffic. That lasted through the DC area. Because we couldn’t figure out where to spend the last night, we made a snap decision. We would stop in Laurel, MD and eat some supper and just go for as long as we could. We made it all the way. It was about 2:30 AM when we finally got the car unhooked and the kitties in the house. Then we slept. As it was Easter, perhaps we should have looked for a sunrise service!! But we did not; we slept for a few hours and then went to Easter Mass. Now the task of unloading is still waiting for us. So, I have to go – there are clothes to find, food to take in and stuff to put away.
