We arrived in Rocky Mount, NC at about 6:30. We are at a KOA and are in for the night. The rest of the day was quite uneventful. But, it was very rainy and there was lots of traffic from VA to NC.
In spite of all of that, I did get my wish. As we pulled off the highway, the thermometer read 61 degrees!! The heat is not one and I do have a couple of windows open. The overnight temperature was stay in the high 50's. So, I have arrived and found the warm weather!! We will travel south tomorrow and it should get warmer - I hope.
