It is now Sunday, May 27, 2007. I guess I now remember the day and the date. It is a somewhat sad day. We are heading home.
It was a wonderful RV vacation. We stayed at some wonderful RV parks. We rode water rides, saw wild animals, rode in flight simulators, walked the hallowed halls of the Smithsonian, … and much. much more.
But, the time has come to get back to everyday live. It is always a “good thing” to get home: To see the home that you left, still intact and discover that everything is ok. In that split second when you are still on vacation and you know that all is well at home, that is the best. But, soon reality sets in and you know that vacation is over. Going back to work is a small price to pay for such a great vacation!!
