Today is January 25. It is cold outside and it will get colder tomorrow ; 12 degrees during the day, with the wind chill, it will feel like -10!! Ok, I know we have had a mild winter, but I am ready for Spring!!
It has been over a month since we have been out in our motorhome and I can’t stand it. But, it seems foolish to plan something in such cold weather. And no, we cannot just take off for Florida!!
This has been our first winter with an RV. And I guess by the time the spring thaw arrives, I will be able to say that we survived it. But, what will we do after we have had the RV for a full year, going out in it often on weekends and all the trips we have planned. Next winter will be a long winter. I can’t even imagine what it will be like.
But, for now I can say that March is less than 6 weeks away and our first long trip – in mid-May – is 3 and a half months away. Hopefully, that will get me through the next few weeks of this bitter Northeast winter.
