We arrived early Saturday afternoon and picked a spot in the mostly empty area. We understand that in the summer you need to show-up on Wednesday to get a spot for the weekend.
The afternoon was very nice for Nov 11, so once we were settled in we went for a walk on the beach. There were a number of people fishing from the beach and from the breachway breakwater. It seemed that most of the other rigs that were there were in fact there for the fishing.

About sun-down we went out for another walk; by this time it was getting a little cooler. So we took a few pictures; the sunset was a little clouded over.
Unlike last week at Aces High, the Breachway has no utilities of any sort. So we ran the generator while we made supper and watched some news. After supper we listened to the radio, and napped / read until bedtime. Oliver was still mostly parked under the driver or passenger chair, while Pepper was roaming about and being a lap kitty for a bit.
Sunday morning it was somewhat gray out, but no rain when we got up. Again ran the generator to make breakfast and catch a little morning news / weather. The predicted showers came by and started chasing some of the fishing folks out; and us as well.
Oliver was out and about much more in the morning than he was Saturday night. About 11 or so we pulled in the slides; put the cats in their travel crate (which Oliver only tolerates) and set off for home; something like 14 miles away according to the CoPilot software.
On the way home we stopped to dump the black & gray tanks and top-off the fuel. We are planning on going away for Thanksgiving. That trip will be somewhat further, something like 62 miles.
So far so good. We are getting the hang of this beast and slowly getting all of the required items on-board and stowed appropriately. This is sort of like our boat, but larger and more systems to learn. So two down and hopefully many more to go.
