October has been a fantastic month here in New England. The weather has been very summer-like and the cold days of Autumn have not arrived – yet. They are coming; they always do.
This past weekend, we camped at Holiday Acres with other RV owners. We had a wonderful time. Good friend, good food and great weather – this is what RVing is all about. We even managed to fool the acorns. We parked away from the trees. Even so, one very large (or at least loud one) got us in the roof!!
This weekend we probably will not be camping. But, there is a local RV show. Once you have an RV, it seems to be a requirement that you always consider what you would get next. There are no plans to get another one; but that possibility is always there. So, we must remain educated and ready to pounce when the opportunity or need arises. Beside, there must be some gadget or other that we “need”. At least, we need to look at it and consider it and, hopefully, put it back. After all, Santa needs a list in the next 2 months.
