When we camped – in that previous, younger life I mentioned, we never had ice cream. That would have been impossible and certainly not anything that we would have wanted. In more recent years, when we were boaters, we did not have ice cream. We had a sail boat that had an ice box. It was a very efficient ice box. But, as good as it was it could not keep ice cream. So, it was a treat to pull into some harbor and get ashore and walk in the village and find an ice cream shop and eat some ice cream. That was a treat.
We just had ice cream for dessert. Some would say that we are camping in the woods of Georgia and we had ice cream. I don’t think we are camping. I don’t know what it is, but it is very nice and certainly want to keep doing it.
More tomorrow.
