Gladys

WE have a new friend with us. Her name is Gladys. She is the voice from our navigation system. Gladys always alerts you that you should turn in 2 miles. Or, "just ahead bear left". Occasionally, she does get upset with us. If we decide to go investigate or find a gas station. She says, in a somewhat irritated voice, one that you would use fora child that has just done the same bad thing for the hundredth time "just ahead, turn around". I am sure that the voice provides that information with the same emotionless tone as any other directions. But, I DO hear the impatience. Makes want to go off course all the more. I must be that child!! But, Gladys is with us for the entire trip!!
