And Away We Go

Well yesterday we left the car to have the baseplate installed.

Today we arrived at the dealer at about 8:30 AM and something like 8 degrees F with the wind blowing. The service manager had me turn the MH around and brought the car up behind.

Then begin the adventure of attaching the hitch to the motor home and the car. Normally this should be easy - so he says. BUT this 20 pound piece of metal is very cold!!! Trying to remove and insert little pins, wiring and safety cables with gloves on does not work; so off come the gloves.

Well we finaly get the car hooked up; tested the brake lights and turn signals -- all A-OK.

And Away We Went -- Drove home with no problem; just had this little red car tailgating all the way ;->
We parked on the road ; unhooked without any problem - temperature must have been up to 12 or so by now.

I think this is going to be OK.
